dc.description.abstractFloods are natural disasters that are familiar to all over the world. Currently the occurrence of flooding is very detrimental where the impact of casualties and damage to building materials and other materials. It has been designed and implemented a remote flood detection tool using lora and IoT (Internet of Things) the system for making this tool uses the HCSR04 sensor where this sensor can read the water level by emitting ultrasonic waves and is received back then the data is processed by the ATmega328. An early warning indicator that will be displayed on the LCD is what the water level is, the application used for making this tool is IoT (blynk) where the application is a sophisticated application that is used to determine the state of standby, safe to flood, among others, namely: when the water level is high 50 cm then the condition is still safe, but when the water level reaches 60 to 78 cm it will be said to be on standby and when the water level is >1 meter, the flood condition and the buzzer will sound and will be displayed on the smartphone carrying a red sign, namely the potential for flooding.en_US
