Electrical energy is one of the most important community needs and as the most important economic resource needed in various activities. In this study, an electronic circuit was designed for automatic protection that works automatically if a short circuit occurs in humans if a leakage current of 30 mA is detected and can calculate the leakage current in a home installation. Current measurements are carried out using a pzem004t sensor with an Arduino mega microcontroller. The working system of this tool begins by connecting to a current source and then turning on the device, then it can be started with initialization, then the sensor reads the parameters, and the data from the sensor is processed by the microcontroller. If there is a difference in phase current with a neutral current of 0.030 A, the relay will turn off or cut off the current, if the Push Button button is pressed the sensor will read the parameters again. If there is no difference between the phase current and the neutral current, it will be displayed on the LCD. Measurement and accuracy of the tool designed using the pzem004t sensor in measuring leakage current on dry soil which was measured 10 times. The average result of % deviation in the leakage current measurement in dry soil is 2.3%. This result does not meet the specifications accuracy. The measurement accuracy of the pzem004t sensor is 0.5%. The leakage current measurement in moist soil is 0.4%. This result has met the accuracy of the specifications. The measurement accuracy of the pzem004t sensor is 0.5%. An electric circuit breaker automatically if a leakage current of 30mA is detected has been successfully designed. This tool is equipped with the Internet of Things which functions for remote monitoring if a leakage current is detected.
