Akurasi Triple Diagnostik Pemeriksaan Klinis, Ultrasonografi dan Aspirasi Jarum Halus pada Nodul Tiroid di RS HAM Medan

Abstract

Obiective : To evaluate the accuracy of triple concordant diagnostic, clinical examination, ultrasonography, and fine.needle aspiration in a single nodule thyroid in Rumah Sakit Haji Adam Malik Medan. Background : Thyroid tumor is a most common neoplasm found in endocrine system. Prevalence increase by age. The number of thyroid tumor operation is increasing because the suboptimum accuracy in preoperative diagnostic- Fine-needle aspiration is the cheapest and easiest way to examine a thyroid nodule and has a minimum complication. Ultrasonography is a non invasive examination that easy to access and relatively cheap. This study will evaluate and @mparc the accuracy of triple concordant diagnostic, clinical examination, fine-needle aspiration, and ultrasonography with histopathology as a gold standard.
