dc.description.abstract | In this era of security system is something that is needed by the
community, especially in the field of transportation. Transportation serves as
the transfer of goods and people from the place of origin to the destination to
facilitate movement. People are worried because of the high crime rate which
is increasing. GPS devices can tell the vehicle's position if the vehicle is
installed with a GPS receiver which has the function of receiving signals from
satellites, this tool is in the form of a module that produces position coordinates
angle data information. A position can be determined using a GPS receiver
which will provide output data in the form of position data, namely the latitude,
longitude, time, speed, and direction coordinates of the GPS receiver. A GPS
Neo 6M is used to determine the position of the vehicle will move, especially
for users of motorized vehicles and for transportation. Users can also monitor
the position of the vehicle through the Blynk Application which is connected to
the internet network. Based on the results of the study, the difference between
the farthest distance coordinates obtained from the GPS Module and Google
Maps is 17,6 meters for the first location and the difference in the distance of
the closest coordinates is 8,8 meters for the second location. | en_US |
