dc.description.abstractCoffee is a grain plant that is processed into powder and can be enjoyed as a result. Coffee is also the largest natural resource in Indonesia. Therefore, coffee farmers need a satisfying and quality coffee harvest. In this final project, the author had the opportunity to make a measuring instrument for water content and mass in coffee beans. Where each coffee bean has its own moisture content and mass. When the water content in the coffee beans is lower, the quality of the coffee will be better, while when the water content in the coffee is higher, the quality of the coffee is getting lower/less quality and the coffee beans must be reprocessed. In this tool, current is supplied to the Atmega328 which functions as the controller of the entire circuit. Then, there is a load cell that functions to measure the weight of the coffee mass and the data results are read and sent to the LCD where the LCD functions as the output display of the measurement results using HX711. Then, after measuring the mass of coffee, it was continued by measuring the water content of the coffee using a soil moisture sensor. Soil moisture is a measuring device for measuring moisture or water content in the soil that has been upgraded so that it can detect the moisture content in grains and the results are directly sent to the LCD. This tool serves to help and facilitate coffee farmers in choosing quality and quality coffee beansen_US
