Abstract

The Academy of Arts is a building that has an important function in education. With the Academy of Arts, the development of education will increase to the high level, as well as being one of the driving factors for the community to improve the creative economy. Besides the education, art can also develop human expressions that contain beauty and provide visual appeal. The aim of the design is to develop human interests and talents in the traditional arts, and as a forum for artistic activities with teaching rooms and based on a complete curriculum and facilities. The benefit of this design is to provide knowledge about the art academy and its functions, as well as the system that works in it. The information in this research uses all journals with the topic of the traditional arts academy, especially with the cultures in Indonesia.
