dc.description.abstract | This study aims to analyze the economic feasibility of an alternative road construction plan route (Line 4) Medan - Tuntungan - Kutalimbaru -Sambaikan - Berastagi in North Sumatra Province. Based on the characteristics of the object, the study approach was carried out using a survey method, based on population characteristics, the research sample took the Medan - Berastagi National road section, and related to the analysis, the method used was a quantitative and qualitative descriptive method, with 3 (three) stages of the feasibility analysis process, namely (1) the process of estimating development costs, (2) the process of estimating the benefits resulting from the road network simulation process with and without the project, and (3) conducting an economic feasibility analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, the IRR value is 29.52%. Calculation of investment value: NPV value, IRR value and Net B/C value accompanied by a pay back period for 15 years at a DS value of 10% and 15%, it is concluded that the construction of alternative road infrastructure-4 Medan - Profits - Kutalimbaru -Sambaikan - Berastagi is feasible. If the value of the social discount rate (NPV = 0) is set at 10%, this value will be reached in early 2032. | en_US |
