dc.description.abstract | Probiotic is a living microorganism that have beneficial role and is able to survive in digestion. The addition of probiotic plays a role for regulating the microbial environment in the intestine, blocking intestinal pathogenic microorganisms, improving feed efficiency and releasing digestive enzymes. The aims of this research is to known the effect of addition of Mina Pro probiotics with different feeding rate against growth and survival rate of gouramy (Osphronemus gouramy). This research was conducted from October to December 2021 on Seroja VII Street, Gg Selaras No. 7, Tanjung Selamat District, Medan City. The container that used in this research is buckets with diameter of 44 cm and waters in height 45 cm as much as 27 units with 10 fish/container in density. This research was carried out by Randomized Block Design method with two treatment factors, the first namely the treatment factor of Mina Pro probiotic with doses of M1 (10 mL), M2 (15 mL) and M3 (20 mL) and the second namely treatment factor for feeding rate F1 (3%), F2 (4%), and F3 (5%). The results showed that the best treatment was M3F3 treatment (the treatment of probiotic Mina Pro doses of 20 ml with feeding rate of 5%) which resulted in a length growth of 2.35 cm, weight growth of 16.07 g with a survival rate of 96, 67% | en_US |
