dc.description.abstract | Inventory control has an important role in every company, where inventory control is used as a measure of inventory performance and is used to make inventory policies. However, not all companies can control inventory optimally. This is caused by a weak control system that causes losses to the company, so that cost efficiency in inventory is not achieved. In addition, in general, the calculation of inventory control carried out by the company is still done manually. It also takes a long time and complicated calculations. Manual calculations are carried out in stages, so it takes 20 minutes per raw material. Therefore, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory control calculations, a decision support system was developed. This decision support system is designed to facilitate data collection and inventory design activities through information systems and can reduce the risk of errors made by humans if inventory control is carried out manually. The designed support system is raw material inventory control by using Economic Order Quantity with back orders and order acceleration. This decision support system is designed in four stages, namely the intelligence stage, the design stage, the choice stage and the implementation stage. | en_US |
