dc.description.abstractA Day Old Chicks (DOC) Cage Heating Lamp Design Tool Based on NodeMCU ESP8266 and DHT11 has been made using the Internet of Things (IoT) System. This tool aims to design a heating lamp in the chicken coop that uses NodeMCU as its microcontroller and DHT11 as its sensor, where the NodeMCU used is based on the ESP8266 chip with the ability to carry out microcontroller functions and also an internet connection (WiFi). DHT11 is a sensor that functions to measure the temperature of the cage and the humidity in the cage. This tool uses the Internet of Things (IoT) system. Simply, IoT is a concept of how physical devices can be controlled and monitored via the internet network. This tool is made to be able to check the temperature conditions in the cage and can adjust the heater automatically to maintain the stability of the cage temperature so that later the growth of chicks in the cage can be maintained at 37℃ − 39℃ and the humidity at 68% − 69% and not attacked by disease.en_US
