Soil is a layer of the earth's surface that physically functions as a place for growth
and development of roots that support the growth of plants and supplies water and
air needs, chemically functions as a warehouse and supplier of nutrients or nutrients
(simple organic and inorganic compounds and essential elements such as N, P, K,
Ca, Mg, S, Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn, B, Cl, etc.), and biologically serves as a habitat for biota
(organisms) that actively participate in providing these nutrients. Research has been
carried out regarding the determination of potassium (k-dd) levels in agroinnovation
garden soils at the agricultural technology study center using atomic
absorption spectrophotometry. Research that aims to determine the quality of the
soil, whether it is in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Soil Research
Agency. From the analysis results obtained potassium levels (k-dd) in Lab codes A,
B, C, D, and E are 1.69 me/100g, respectively; 0.89me/100g; 1.08 me/100g; 0.48
me/100g; and 0.56 me/100g with high and very high categories. Based on the data
obtained, it shows that the quality requirements of the potassium content in the soil
have met the quality standards according to the Soil Research Agency
