dc.description.abstract | Currently, electricity consumption in Indonesia is very high, so the costs that must be paid by the community for electricity consumption are also high. Inevitably, residents have to save electricity both in terms of lifestyle and in terms of electrical equipment. The existence of an electrical outlet is very important in order to be able to multiply and extend the electrical path that will later be used by other electrical equipment. With so many electrical equipment connected to the socket, manual monitoring and control becomes inefficient. To minimize this, we need a system for monitoring and control of electrical outlets. Efforts to determine electricity consumption and control of electrical equipment require technology with on/off monitoring and control functions on electrical equipment. To support electricity consumption savings, the researchers took the initiative to design Smart Sockets that are controlled through IoT Based on this Solar Powered ESP 32. This socket consists of ESP 32 components, solar panels, relays, and blynk applications. ESP 32 is used as the main control system, the solar panel functions as a tool that absorbs energy from sunlight which is converted into electrical energy, the relay functions to connect or disconnect electricity based on the control of the ESP 32. And the blynk application functions as an application to control the socket via mobile phone connected to a Wi-Fi network. | en_US |
