One of the natural resources is wood. To increase the value of wood, in the industrial world, wood is widely used as a cooking utensil, home furnishings, building materials and others. The design of a wood moisture detector is to measure the moisture present in the wood. By using a conductivity sensor and NodeMCU as the driving brain of the tool and a power supply as a power supply, the conductivity method uses two probes connected to the wood being measured, then a signal processing circuit produces an output that shows the conductivity/electrical conductivity of the water. The value of some samples calculated by the designed tool is then compared with the value of the standard tool. The samples used were 6 different types of wood. The results of the measurements carried out are in the form of percent values and also calculate the deviation/accuracy value of the tool in detecting moisture from wood. The results of the calculation of the percent deviation obtained that the maximum value in sample 3 is 6.7% and the minimum value in sample 6 is 2.3% and the average value of the percent deviation of the six samples is 3.85%.en_US
