Analisis Problematika Pasca Panen Jeruk di Kabupaten Karo dan Teknologi Alternatif Pengolahannya

Abstract

HERBERT ALEXANDER NAPITUPULU: Analysis of Orange Post-Harvest Problems in Karo District and its Alternative Processing Technology, supervised by ACHWIL PUTRA MUNIR and AINUN ROHANAH Karo regency is one of the biggerst citrus-producing district in Indonesia. However, farmers have not received a great benefit for them. The abundant of citrus production is not comparable with the income received by farmers. This research was conducted to determine the post-harvest problems faced by stakeholders, and also to find alternative technologies that can be applied to citrus production, so that the bulky production of citrus could be benefit to farmers and citrus prices will be more stable.
