RIAULI ANGGRIANI PARDEDE : Analysis of rainfall in pine forest in
Taman Hutan Raya Bukit Barisan Tongkoh Kabupaten Karo based on modeling
of water balance, supervised by Sumono and Nazif Ichwan.
Modeling of water balance is stacked to predict soil moisture storage. The
balance is the appropriate both of the coming rainfall and the going water from
pine forest. Modeling of water balance consists of rainfall, throughfall, stemflow,
intercepsi, actual evapotranspiration, and run off.
The result of research for 16 weeks (April - Agustus 2012) showed that
daily rainfall was 16,326 mm/day and annual rainfall was 2309 mm/year. Water
that out from pine forest was only from actual evapotranspiration, 2,546 mm/day.
Soil moisture storage got during research was 385,450 mm. From this result can
be concluded that region research is suitable for growing of pine tree forest
