dc.description.abstractThe rice husk organic pellet maker is designed to simplify the process of making pellets by combining two working principles of the tool, namely a flour maker and a pellet printer. This study aims to design and test the rotational speed of the rice husk organic pellet maker, this research method uses a non-factorial completely randomized design with three rotational speed treatments, namely R1 at 3800 rpm, R2 at 4000 rpm and R3 at rotating speed 4200 rpm. The parameters used in this study are the effective capacity of the tool, yield, and economic analysis. The best effective capacity of the tool was obtained in the R3 treatment of 2.5 Kg/hour and the smallest effective capacity of the tool was obtained from the R1 treatment of 1.76 Kg/hour. The highest yield was obtained in treatment R1 as much as 62.5% and the smallest yield was obtained in treatment R2 at 59.72%. From the calculation of economic analysis, BEP (Break Even Points) is obtained 0,97 kg/jam, NPV (Net Present Value) 5 % is equal to Rp.535.563,2304/tahun, NPV (Net Present Value) 6 % is equal to Rp. 280.255,5584/tahun, and IRR (Internal Rate of Return) is 29,075 %.en_US
