Pengaruh Penggunaan E-Learning terhadap Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara (Studi Korelasi Antara Penggunaan E-Learning dengan Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Universitas Sumatera Utara)
Abstract
This study is entitled “The Influence of using e-learning on the learning motivation students Universitas Sumatera Utara” The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of using e-learning on the learning motivation students Universitas Sumatera Utara, to determine learning motivation students Universitas Sumatera Utara in the use of e-learning. The theories used in this research are uses and gratification, e-learning, e-learning USU, learning motivation, communication group, media of learning, new media and internet. The research method used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The population in this study were active students from the faculty of computer science and information technology, faculty of agriculture, faculty of cultural sciences and the faculty of economics and business Universitas Sumatera Utara. The sample was determined using the Taro Yamane formula in order to obtain a sample of 99 respondent. The sampling technique uses proportionate stratified random sampling, purposive sampling, accidental sampling. Data collection techniques was library research and questionnaires method. Data analysis techniques used are single table analysis, cross table analysis and correlaction test. The results of this study indicate that the use of e-learning significant influence on learning motivation‟s students University of North Sumatera. This based on hypothesis testing through SPSS software, obtained data that (rho) 0,527 significance number (sig. 2-tailed) = 0,000 where the significance value <0,05 which means that there is a significant relationship and by using the correlation coefficient the result of 0,527 show meaningful relationship. This shows that there is an influence of using e-learning on the learning motivation students Universitas Sumatera Utara.
