Sistem Informasi Komoditas Tanaman Pangan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

Food crop information system in Serdang Bedagai Regency are still stored in books and/or files that are very limited in effectiveness. Computerized information delivery methods and internet networks are the solution which is worth to try to overcome the flow of information problem. This study was designed to produce system that can help the process of delivering, storing, and monitoring information displayed in a web form. The systems was designed in a user oriented programming language PHP, and MySQL database web Apache webserver. This system could improved the efficiency and effectiveness of the flow of information especially the food crop information. The result showed that the distribution and types of food crop commodities in each district in Serdang Bedagai Regency is different. The spread and the kinds of commodity depend on the topographic, the price level and the market demand in the area.
