dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to examine various variations of the pulis on a banana flour sifter. This study used a completely randomized non-factorial design. The diameters of the pulis used were 5 inches (D1), 7 inches (D2) and 9 inches (D3). The parameter tested is the effective capacity of the tool . yield and percentage of material left behind. The largest effective capacity of the tool was found in the 5 inch diameter puli treatment, which was 50.96 kg/hour and the lowest was in the 9 inch diameter treatment, which was 5.67 kg/hour, the largest yield was found in the 5 inch diameter treatment which was 77% and the lowest was found in the diameter treatment. 9 inches is 70.93% , the largest percentage of lost material is found in the treatment with a diameter of 9 inches that is 29.07% and the lowest percentage of lost material is found in the treatment with a diameter of 5 inches that is 23%en_US
