Identifikasi Sistem Pengolahan Sampah Organik dan Anorganik dengan Pemodelan Black Box Diagram

Abstract

This case study was conducted because of the condition of USU area that was not reach the minimum criteria of a beautiful and conducive academic area for encouraging an academic activity. The aim of this research was to identify dominant factors which required in system of processing of inorganic and organic garbage in USU area which then could be interpreted into black box diagram. System approach method was use in this research which started with identification of a number of requirements until we knew the problem in a holistic perspective. The problems which happened in system of processing of inorganic and organic garbage in USU area, were consist of some dominant factors, such as : system of garbage processing, identification of system of garbage processing, environment awareness mindset, volume of garbage per unit of time, characteristic of garbage, and resources of manpower. Based on data and characteristics of garbage identification, the appropriate technology for processing of garbage in USU area was composting. More information can be seen in the black box diagram
