During the course of their development, the economic globalization and free trade keep developing through international negotiation and agreement. Indonesia with its open economy will surely be impacted by the principles of global economy and trade liberalization because Indonesia's economy will deal with the economy of other countries (lndonesia's business associates) in the forms of export-import, direct or indirect investment, and loan. This economic impact becomes the challenge in formulating national policy, world of economy, and the economic practitioners. To cope with the condition impacting the Indonesian economy/trade in all aspects including legal aspect, Indonesia should effectively operate the law, especially investment law which contains policies to direct investment activities. The function of the police is to maintain order and security, uphold law, protect, guard, and serve the community. Therefore, the Indonesian police play an important role in implementing an effective operation of the investment and trade laws. This function automatically makes the human resources belong to the Indonesian police have to be well prepared and understand all stipulation related to the investment law.
