Efficiency of water distribution is percentage of water that flow into the rice field compared to the amount of water entering from river. The efficiency can be calculated by multiplying the efficiency of primary, secondary and tertiary channels. Efficiency of water distribution is affected by the seepage, percolation and evaporation. It was found from the research conducted in the irrigation area of Singosari districts Serdang Bedagai that the efficiency of water distribution was 44.24% while the efficiency in the primary channel was 83.85%, the secondary channel was 78.92% and 66.86 % in the tertiary channel. Water loss from the seepage was 0.0000624 mm / day, from the percolation was 4.00 mm / day and from the evaporation was 0.899 mm / day.en_US
