Sistem Informasi Alat dan Mesin Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian di Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

The information system of agricultural crop processing machine and equipment in district of Karo is still in manual system that has limited effectivity. The delivering information by computerization and network through prototype approach is a solution that can be tried to solve the current problem of information system. This research was designed to get a system that can help serving, storing, and controlling processes of data that will be showed by web application. The system was designed to be oriented to user, using PHP programming language, MySQL web database and Apache webserver. This system can increase the efficiency and effectivity of the current information especially on agricultural machine and equipment. The results showed that the distribution of agricultural crop processing machine and equipment in District of Karo were not evenly spread at each subdistrict. The distribution of processing machine and equipment was depend the kind of prominent commodity in the region.
