Naborsahan River of Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatera. Supervised By

This research described diversity and abundance of macrozoobenthos in
Naborsahan River Toba Samosir Regency of North Sumatra. Macrozoobenthos
sampling station consists of 3 stations using purposive random sampling method.
Physical and chemical parameters were measured, namely temperature, currents,
depth, brightness, turbidity, organic content on C-substrate, pH, DO, BOD5, and
COD. Macrozoobenthos obtained consists of 5 phylum, namely Annelida,
Arthropoda, Nemertea, molluscs and Platyhelminthes which are divided into 26
genera. Station I have a value of diversity (H ') of 2,25 with a high of 11 genera.
Tryonia genus has the highest value of 14,429 ind/m2 abundance that is at the
third station. The analysis used the Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Based
on PCA analysis and diversity indices obtained equitabilitas index was inversely
proportional to the brightness, turbidity, depth, temperature, DO and BOD 5,
therefore affect the diversity index and the index of macrozoobenthos equitability. | en_US |
