| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this research is to find out " lnfluence of Ponton to Social Economic Degree in Negeri Lama Seberang Village Siciety and Perkebunan Sennah Village in Bilah Hilir Labuhanbatu Regency and its linkage to regional development." Location research was in Bilah sub-district, Labuhanbatu regency, with the coverage area of 43,083 Ha, consist of 13 villages, where from the 13 villages selected 2 villages as research location, because the two selected villages is near to Ponton in Sungai Bilah as research object. The data using secondary and primary data from Bilah Hilir subs district office and form the head of the village office, the primary data is from the responden. The research responden is 92 people using direct interview by asking the prepared questions. The result shows that by using statistic double linear regression test through SPSS, we know that facility variable transportation value t counting = 2,200 bigger than value t table = 1,984 it means that at α 5%, transportation facility specially Ponton quite influenced to income for responden. lt can be added that in doing daily social and economic activities responden using transportation Ponton facility is 70 responden's or 76,1% the rest 22 responden's or 23,9% using traditional boat. Work variable value t counting = 9,852 is bigger than value t table = 2,617 it means at α 1%, that working variable is quite influenced to income for responden's, it can be proven by responden's working in formal sector is mor dominant where 69 responden's or 75% is govemment employee, private employee, and traders. The rest 23 responden's or 25% working in informal sector as labours, farmers, and otherc (erratic work). Education variable value t accounting = 1,708 bigger than value t table = 1,660 it means that at α 10%, education variable influenced to responden's income in Negeri Lama Seberang Village and Perkebunan Sennah Village. Beside, Ponton influence is having close relationship to changes ang regional development, data from the research is also shown that Ponton could seved crossing transportation serveice for commodities, industries, trades, plantation and agriculture product to be overspread to other villages especially in Negeri Lama Seberang Village and Perkebunan Sennah Village. Beside changes in income, the most significant aspect of regional development to community in Negeri Lama Seberang Village and Perkebunan Sennah Village is looking from means and infrastructure in each villages such as Elementary School, Junior High School, Health infrastructures such as Posyandu (Service lntegrated Post), finance institution such as Banks, Plantation. ln general it can be said that Ponton as crossing transportation mean has an important role in regional development. | en_US |
