dc.description.abstractDrainage canal in irrigation system must be able to hold excess of water and run off from irrigation system. If the drainage canal could not hold the excess of water and the run off flood would be happened. To plan the flood discharge the Rational method can be used. In this Research the data comprised of rainfall and land use data. Rainfall data were transformed into hours intensity rainfall through Mononobe method. The changes of land use at irrigation area in Bendang gave a significant impact on flood discharge. Evaluation of drainage system in Bendang must be done to get the capacity of drainage canal and to predict flood. It could be concluded from the evaluation result that drainage canal at Bendang could not hold the flood discharge.en_US
