| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the research was to investigate the effect of the heating and the
number rice of hull used on the yield and quality of seed rubber oil.
The research had been performed using factorial Completely Randomized
Design, two replicates i.e. the heating time (L) 0, 15, 30 and 45 minutes, and the
number of hull (S)-2,5; 5,0; 7,5 and 10,0 %.
The result of the research show that the heating time had highly significant effect
on yield, moisture, free fatty acid, peroxide number and color. As the heating time
increase the yield, free fatty acid, peroxide number and color increas but the moisture
decreased.
The result of research showed that the number rice of hull used had highly
significant effect on yield, moisture, free fatty acid, peroxide number and color. As the
number rice of hull increased the yield, moisture, free fatty acid, peroxide number and
color increased.
The result of the research also show the combination of treatment had highly
significant effect on yield, moisture, free fatty acid, peroxide number and color.
The highest rendement and the quality were on LS, and the lowest were on
