| dc.description.abstract | The mangrove waters of Lubuk Kertang Village are located in West Brandan District, Langkat Regency. At this location there is a mangrove ecosystem that is close to residential areas and oil palm plantations. This study was to determine the diversity of phytoplankton in the mangrove waters of Lubuk Kertang Village, and to determine the relationship between phytoplankton and the physical and chemical parameters of the waters in the mangrove waters of Lubuk Kertang Village. This research was conducted in March–April 2021. Determination of the sampling location using purposive sampling method at 3 observation stations. Phytolankton was taken using a plankton net with a size of 45 m, with sampling at a depth of 0 m and 3 m. The results obtained were 12 species, namely Cymbella sp, Fragillaria sp, Melosira sulcate, Terpsinoe sp, Gonatozygon sp, Oedogonium sp, Pandorina morum, Staurastrum sp, Euglena acus, Euglena viridis, Phacus longicauda, and Tintinopsis estuariensis. The total abundance of phytoplankton in the Mangrove Waters of Lubuk Kertang Village is very diverse. At station I depth of 0 m was 4302 ind/l consisting of 12 species, depth of 3 m was 1483 ind/l consisting of 7 species. At station II depth of 0 m was 4843 ind/l consisting of 12 species, depth of 3 m was 2181 ind/l consisting of 9 species. At station III a depth of 0 m was 3712 ind/l. which consists of 12 species, a depth of 3 m as many as 2113 ind/l consisting of 9 species. The relationship of abundance to the physical and chemical parameters of the waters in the PCA analysis varied according to the depth and the research station. | en_US |
