dc.description.abstractResource peat potency in indonesia quite a lot and amount of reserve about 26 million Ha, Peat can be exploited as farm for the agriculture of, plantation and upon which for the energy of is, industrial. To increase maximum peat exploiting, need the existence of research concerning decomposision level and peat item size measure by using some parameter that is : quality of ‘heating value, ash content %, moisture content % ane specific mass ‘Examination conducted by 2 factor tha is decomposision level and item size measure by’ 3 restating. Treatment mount decomposision ( D) consist of 3 level that is D, = saprik, Dz = Hemik, Dy = Fibrik. While treatment item size measure (M) consist of 3 level that is My ~ 10 mesh, Mz ~ 20 mesh, Mz = 30 mesh This research aim to know influence mount histosol land:ground item size measure and decomposision peat to quality of heating value which is yielded. From result of research known that decomposision level give influence to quality of ‘heating value and ash content. Quality of heating value highest obtained at Ds that is 21241.884 Jig and lowest at D that is 19362.795 J/g. highest ash content obtained at D; that is 27.889 % caned lowest at Dis 13.500 % Item peat land:ground size measure give influence to quality of ‘heating value, moisture content and specific mass. Highest moisture cantent at My that is 11.556 26 and lowest atM, that is 1.000% Highest specific mass at M; that is 0.578 gem? and lowest at M; that is 0.562 g’cm’. Ineraction between decomposision level and item size measure only give influence to quality of heating value. Quality of heating value highest obtained at D3M1; ther is 22058.880 J/g.en_US
