dc.description.abstract | Farmers who live on the edge of the river are still using electric or manual pump to get water. Test a variety of coil diameter hose at water pump studied to determine the effective diameter of the hose to pump more water. The research was conducted at the Agricultural Engineering Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and field research was conducted in Sungai Permai, Desa Namogajah, Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan, Medan in October 2011 - February 2012 using factorial randomized block design with one factor, i.e variety of coil diameter hose ¾, 1, and 1 ¼ inch. Parameters were observed the capacity, water elevation head and economic analysis. The results showed that had high significantly affected of the capacity. The best results was on a coil diameter of 1 ¼ inch hose is 0,961 m3/hour, water head was 6,7 m and the economic analysis of Rp 169,37/m3 , and the this equipment was feasible. | en_US |
