Abstract

Good medicine logistic management and the need for medicines in a hospital can be implemented when medicine management is organized effectively and efficiently by conducting general standard of planning, procurement, storage, distribution, elimination, and human resources. The objective of the research was to find out and to analyze the process of medicine planning, medicine procurement, medicine storage, medicine distribution, medicine elimination, and human resources in the process of medicine . logistic management in the Pharmaceutical Installation of DR. M Djami/ General Hospital, Padang. - - -- - The research used qualitative interactive method by using 7 sources of information taken by using purposive. Resources in researc his the General Director and Human Resources, Head of Pharmacy, Parts Logistics, Procurement Section, Receipt of Goods, Pharmacists and Doctorsin the Pharmaceutical Installation of DR. M Djamil General Hospital, Padang. The results showed the drug logistics management in Hospital Pharmacy DR. MDjamil is as follows:a)Planning Drugs in good value and have followed the procedure, b) Procurement of Drugs in good value and have followed the procedure, c) Storage of Drugs in good value and have followed the procedure, d) Distribution of Drugs in value it her because it in volves external parties in meeting the needs of medicineat the hospital pharmacy, e) elimination of medicine in good value and have followed the procedure, f) Human Resources -in value is sti/la shortage in the Pharmaceutical Installation of DR. M. Djamil General Hospital, Padang.
