The calculation of flood discharge by using the flood method for rational
design of the building flooded require data in the rain intensity and duration of a
particular period of re-obtained from Intensity Duration Frequency (IDF) curve.
Research purposes is to obtain distribution pattern of rainfall and the flood
discharge to suppose in the Besitang DAS and the Lepan DAS using rational
methods. Data result of this study indicated that the Log Person Type III
distribution fit to most of data in the Besitang DAS and the Lepan DAS. Results of
determining the distribution of the rainfall pattern design on the back of certain
words and then to get the intensity of rainfall where the intensity should be equal
time konsentrasi to calculate the flood discharge. From the results of the
calculation of the value of coefficients limpasan second DAS show the physical
condition of a DAS is good. Based on the data have been obtained for 1 year and
re-anchor with the intensity of rain Besitang DAS of 2,69 mm / hour and Lepan
DAS of 2,97 mm / hour and limpasan coefficients Besitang DAS of 0,12 and 0,14
of DAS with Lepan DAS broad Besitang is 948,2 km2 and Lepan DAS is 715,72
km2 flood discharge in the Besitang DAS is 86,51 m3
