dc.description.abstract | Current CPO world demand continues to increase. Palm oil industry
competition is tight. Therefore, an effort is required to improve the quality and
yield of crude palm oil producers. This research was aimed at evaluating the
consistency of the CPO quality (free fatty acid and moisture) and the yield of
production during May the period of 2006 to 2010 as well as to analyse factors
that causing the low level of quality and yield of CPO at the oil palm factory using
control chart and cause effect diagram.
Results of the research showed that the free fatty acid of the CPO in the
period of May 2006 and 2007 were undercontrol and stable, while in the period of
2008, 2009 and 2010 were not undercontrol. Moisture contents of the CPO
produced in the period of May 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 were undercontrol and
stable, while in the period 2009 was not undercontrol. The CPO production in the
period of May 2006 and 2009 were undercontrol and stable, while in the period of
2007, 2008 and 2010 were not undercontrol. This matter was caused by the effect
of human resources, raw material, processing and machine condition. | en_US |
