dc.description.abstractDEDI RINALDI PRANATA BARUS : Test Quantity of Knife Edge on Mechanical Cassava Slicer, supervised by AINUN ROHANAH and ACHWIL PUTRA MUNIR. This research did to tested effect quantity of knife edge to effective capacity of the tool, percentage of material that fall behind in the tool, and percentage of material that didn’t slice completely. This research and completely randomized design non-factorial. Based on research has been done, found the effective capacity of the tool, percentage of material that didn’t slice completely each, on one edge 45,82 kg/hr, 3,59%, 3,45%, on two edge 49,70 kg/hr, 4,07%, 4,11%, on three adge 68,58 kg/hr, 10,10%, 4,72%. The result of research showed that quantity of knife edge give effect very real to effective capacity and percentage of material that fall behind in the tool, and affect not real to percentage of material that didn’t slice completelyen_US
