Analisis Pengaruh Sektor Industri Pengolahan, Sektor Pertanian, dan Sektor Transportasi terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Kualitas Lingkungan Hidup di Indonesia
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of the manufacturing sector,
agriculture sector, and transportation sector on economic growth and
environmental quality in Indonesia for the period 2012-2019. As the aim is to find
out whether there is a positive or negative effect on economic growth and the
environmental quality index in Indonesia. The type of research used is descriptive
research.
The data used is secondary data collected from the Indonesian Central
Statistics Agency and the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Data
analysis used path analysis using a structural equation model (SEM) with SPSS
version 25 statistical program.
The results of the study indicate that the variables of the manufacturing sector,
agriculture sector, and transportation sector indirectly affect the environmental
quality index through economic growth. Partially, the variables of the
manufacturing industry sector, the agricultural sector and the transportation sector
have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. The manufacturing
sector variable has a positive and insignificant effect on environmental quality, the
agricultural sector variable has a negative and insignificant effect on the
environmental quality index and the transportation sector has a negative and
significant effect on the environmental quality index. Simultaneously, the variables
of the manufacturing sector, agriculture sector, and transportation sector have an
effect of 0.895 on economic growth, and have an effect of 0.303 on the index of
environmental quality in Indonesia.
