Hatchery fish have the prospect of local and export markets. One fish that has a
high sales price and demand a fair amount of both local and export is a goldfish
(Carrasius auratus). This study aims to get a good comparison of the amount of
the parent for maximum spawning and determine the ratio of male and female
parent goldfish different on hatching rate and survival of larvae. Research
methods using completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 3
replications, with treatments 1 ratio of male parent and a female parent 2: 1,
treatment 2 with a ratio of male and female parent 3: 1, and the treatment of 3
with a ratio of male parent female 4 1. This study be realized in July to August
2015. The results of this study indicate that the ratio of the number of aircraft
significantly affect the degree of fertilization and hatching indicates the highest
level obtained from the treatment 3 (82.87%) with a male female parent
Comparing the 4: 1 which chances of sperm to fertilize an egg is greater so that
the number of eggs that hatch will also be greater. The highest survival rate of
larvae and also obtained from the treatment 3 (81.82%).
