Valuasi Ekonomi Jasa Lingkungan Hutan Mangrove di Pesisir Kecamatan Medan Belawan

Abstract

Mangrove is very important in the management of coastal resources in most areas of Indonesia. If there are no mangroves and coastal ocean, the production will be reduced significantly. calculating the economic value of mangrove resources is an effort to see the benefits and costs of monetary resources in the form of environmental consideration. purpose of this study is to determine the benefits of economic valuation of mangroves as a nursery ground, economic valuation of mangroves as a protective abrasion benefits, economic valuation of mangroves as a deterrent benefits of sea water intrusion. The study was conducted in three villages namely village Sicanang Belawan, village Bagan Deli, villages Belawan Bahagia in the district Medan Belawan. Results showed that the value of mangrove forest as nursery ground Rp. 3.685.000,00/ha/yr, the benefits of economic valuation of mangroves as a protective abrasion Rp. 58.968.000,00 /ha /yr and economic valuation of mangrove benefits for the prevention of seawater intrusion Rp.113.734.400,00/yr.
