coastal mangrove forests in this area, where has an area of 46 ha. Mangrove forests are
broad enough that a good habitat for Mudskipper. The research aims to determine
bioecology of Mudskipper. Bioecology of Mudskipper known by taking of the samples
and then analyze the data of length weight relationships, population density, population
distribution patterns of Mudskipper, substrate and the tidal and enviromental influences
on the Mudskipper density. The research was conducted from March until May 2014. The
Method of the research is purposive sampling. For example, fishing. The Stations or area
was used consisted of three transect of stations with beaches, mangroves, and rivers.
There are four types of fish can be found in those areas, which are P. chrysospilos, P.
gracilis, B. boddarti and Pn. schlosseri. If we sorted that length weight relationship has
value 3.2562 cm, 0.9065 cm, 3.06 cm, and 3.0052 cm. The highest density occurs at high
tide and low tide in the coastal areas at the river, with a clustered distribution patterns.
The impact of tidal and environmental on the Mudskipper density.
