Keanekaragaman Makrozoobentos dan Kualitas Perairan di Kawasan Mangrove Desa Lubuk Kertang Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity of macrozoobenthos and aquatic quality based on the index diversity. This research was conducted in February- March 2017 in area mangrove Village Lubuk Kertang. Samples of macrozoobenthos were taken from 3 stations. Based on the results of research, macrozoobenthos found as many as 8 species classified in to 3 classes of Gastropoda, Bivalvia and Malacostraca. The highest abundance of individual is in Station III (34 ind/m2 ) and the lowest is at Station I (26 ind/m2 ). The highest Index Diversity is located at Station II (2.39) and the lowest at Station I (2.30). Based on the index Shannon-Wienner the category water quality in the area mangrove of Village Lubuk Kertang is classified as moderately polluted.
