dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the diversity of macrozoobenthos and aquatic quality based on the index diversity. This research was conducted in February- March 2017 in area mangrove Village Lubuk Kertang. Samples of macrozoobenthos were taken from 3 stations. Based on the results of research, macrozoobenthos found as many as 8 species classified in to 3 classes of Gastropoda, Bivalvia and Malacostraca. The highest abundance of individual is in Station III (34 ind/m2 ) and the lowest is at Station I (26 ind/m2 ). The highest Index Diversity is located at Station II (2.39) and the lowest at Station I (2.30). Based on the index Shannon-Wienner the category water quality in the area mangrove of Village Lubuk Kertang is classified as moderately polluted.en_US
