Akumulasi Logam Berat Tembaga (Cu) dan Timbal (Pb) pada Pohon Rhizophora Mucronata di Hutan Mangrove Desa Nelayan Kecamatan Medan Labuhan dan Desa Jaring Halus Kecamatan Secanggang

Abstract

The purposes of researching is to analyze the content of heavy metals Cu and Pb on roots, leaves, the bark of R. mucronata and knowing the ability of R. mucronata in accumulating heavy metals. The sample was done in two locations: Nelayan village sub-district medan labuhan and Jaring Halus villages sub-district secanggang. Analysis of heavy metals Cu and Pb is carried out in a laboratory research, the faculty of pharmaceuticals, university of north sumatera. By using the method atomic arbsorbsion spectrophotometer (AAS). The results of this research indicate that the heavy metal content of Cu in the bark and leaves in Jaring Halus Village is larger than in Nelayan village. While the content of Cu in Roots in the Nelayan village. The metal content of Pb in the bark and roots in the village of Jaring Halus larger than a Nelayan village. While the larger leaves in the Nelayan village. Based on the Bioconcentration factor, the ability of R. mucronata in accumulate heavy metals Cu zoned medium, whereas in accumulate heavy metals Pb categorized low.
