Analisis Vegetasi Dan Keanekaragaman Ikan Di Perairan Kawasan Mangrove Desa Jaring Halus Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Mangrove ecosystem is one among the few ecosystems that found in coastal areas. This mangrove in Jaring Halus village is managed together to fulfill the needs of their community. This research aims to determine the condition and biodiversity of mangrove ecosystem, also to know the diversity of fish spesies based on the environmental condition its. This research was conducted in December 2016 until January 2017. Research done by using Purposive Sampling method with two-week intervals for two months. Mangrove species that found at the research site as many as 11 species of the Avicennia alba, Acanthus ilicifolius, Bruguiera sexangula, Ceriops decandra, Ceriops tagal, Excoecaria agallocha, Nypa fruticans, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora stylosa dan Xylocarpus granatum. The kind of fish species that found in the research site was 19 species that belonged to the 8 orders, 14 families 16 genera. The diversity index is classified as moderate.
