Mangrove ecosystem is a natural resources that was influenced by the
tides. Bagan Deli Village still has a natural mangrove ecosystem. Mangrove in
Bagan Deli Village has long been used by the local community as a source of
livelihood especially mangrove forest logging for aquaculture. This research was
aimed to know the ecological condition, condition of the mangrove waters and
marine biota diversity associated with mangrove vegetation. This research is done
in February 2016 till April 2016. This research is done with a Purposive Random
Sampling method by taking and observing of biotic components which was
mangrove vegetation and density of marine biota and the measurement of water
quality parameters. Data analysis included analysis of mangrove vegetation,
analysis of morfometri leaves, analysis of biotic, analysis of water quality and
analysis of substrate. There are 7 kinds of mangrove which found in the research
location, namely Avicennia alba, Avicennia lanata, Achantus ilicifikus, Bruguiera
sexangula, Kandelia candal ,Avicennia marina dan Nypafruticans. Based the
decision of environment minister number 201/2004, the mangrove density in all of
stations included in category very solid and the mangrove cover included in
category rarely. The kind of mangrove substarate at this research is loam, silty
loam, clay, clay loam and sand loam. Observations density of marine organism
was also made at each station to see weather or not the organism at each station
