Pemanfaatan Tepung Limbah Ikan Gabuspasir (Butis Amboinensis) dalam Ransum terhadap Karkasitik Peking Umur 8 Minggu

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the utilization of the use ofwaste of gabus pasir flour to slaughter weight, carcass weight and carcass percentage, abdominal fat, abdominal percentage.The research was conducted in Biologi Laboratory of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture in North Sumatra University, from Agustus until Oktober. The design used in completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 6 replications each replications consist of 5 DOD. Treatments were consisted of P0 ( 0% waste of gabus pasirflour); P1 (5 % waste of gabus pasirflour); P2 (10 % waste of gabus pasirflour. The parameters studied were slaughter weigth, carcass weight and carcass percentage, abdominal fat, abdominal percentage. The result showed the average slaughter weight (g/head) for the treatments of P0,P1,and P2 were (1334,22; 1354,66 and 1384,89). Average carcass (g/head) weight (864,387; 848,467 and 888,718). Average carcasspercentage (%) (64,625; 62,730 and 64,416). Average abdominal fat (g/head) (9,275; 10,441; and 11,665). Average abdominal percentage (%) (1,059; 1,221; 1,285).The results of this study showed that treatment nonsignificanthy different on slaughter weight, carcass weight and carcass percentage, abdominal fat, abdominal percentage. The conclusion is that ofwaste of gabus pasir flourcan be usedto 10% level offish mealin the ration.
