Kajian Potensi Produksi Padi pada Lahan Sawah Irigasi di Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Deli Serdang as one of rice centra regions in North Sumatera need to inspecting the wet rice fields condition to produce of rice more and more. The purpose of this conservation is to inspect the potential rice production on irrigation rice fields in Deli Serdang regency in achieving the maximum level of rice production. In this conservation will be inspect about potential rice production based on radiations level, time to grows rice, and rice variety. Than, it will be inspect about irrigation field areas, harvest areas, failed harvest areas and rice productivity to determine the realibility of existing irrigation networks. Over the last 5 years, the level of irrigation degrees in Deli Serdang is still low, they are just 6,7% from 60% standart. From the rice productions target get the average 61%. It means the target is not achieve yet. So that, its need to repairing and upgrading of technology and irrigations networking and the farmers quality to increase the rice productivity and irrigation network realibility.
