dc.description.abstractThe research aims to find out, develop and analyze the effect of Organizational Commitment and Communication on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction in Medan District Court Class I A Special. This is causal-associative research and the population in this research are employees working in Medan District Court Class I A Special that is 146 people. Sampling technique used is proportional random sampling which is a sample collection technique that considers the elements or categories found in the population. This research uses primary data and data are analysed using path analysis method. The result indicates that Organizational Commitment directly has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance in Medan District Court Class I A Special. Communication directly has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Job Satisfaction directly has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance. Organizational Commitment directly has a negative and insignificant effect on Employee Performance. In addition, Communication directly has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance. Based on Sobel test, it is found that Organizatfonal Commitment through Job Satisfaction has a negative and insignificant effect on Employee Performance. Communication through Job Satisfaction has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance in Medan District Court Class 1 A Special. The result indicates that Communication variable mostly infiuences the increase of Employee Performance in Medan District Court Class I A Special through Job Satisfaction.en_US
