    Hubungan Kemampuan Interpersonal dan Stres Kerja dengan Kinerja Perawat Pelaksana di Rumah Sakit Umum dr. Zubir Mahmud IDI Kabupaten Aceh Timur

    Abstract
    Nurses' performance is very important for service quality provided in a hospital. There are some factors which can influence it, and two of them are interpersonal competence and work stress. The objective of this research was to analyze the correlation of interpersonal capacity and work stress with nurse practitioners' performance in the Inpatient Wards of RSUD dr. Zubir Mahmud Idi East Aceh Regency. Design of the study was descriptive correlation with cross sectional study. The samples were 104 nurse practitioners who worked in the four Inpatient Wards, taken by using total sampling technique. The data were collected by using the Work Evaluation Questionnaire, the Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire (ICQ), and the Expanded Nursing Stress Scale (ENSS). The Chi Square test was used to analyzethe data of the research. The result of the research showed that there was significant correlation between interpersonal capacity with performance (p=0.008; p<0.05) which indicated that nurses who had good perception on interpersonal capacity would have 6. 707 times of opportunity to have good performance, compared with nurses who had bad interpersonal capacity (OR=6,707; 95% CI= 1,406-1,089). There was significant correlation between stress in work place with nurses practitioners' performance (p=0.002; p<0.05) which indicated that nurses who had perception on light work stress would have 8.403 times of opportunity to have good performance, compared with nurses who had severe work stress (OR=8,403; 95% CI=l,758-40,158). Interpersonal ability and stress in work place can affect quality of nurse practitioners in work place. Good interpersonal ability indicated that is a good relationship among nurse practitioners. Stress in work place has correlated for improving and decreasing nurses' performance.
