dc.description.abstractRiver is one of water resources utilized by human for many activities in life. This time, the requisite is increasing so people build industry rapidly. This reality caused a lot of adverse effects for quality and the resources include the river, like a heavy metal pollution. This research aim to analyzed the heavy metal of Pb in water dan sediment then determine the quality of the water based on standart quality. The research held on November-Desember 2013 in Percut catchment area, North Sumatera. Consists of 3 station. The observed parameter consists of physics-chemical water, the consentration of heavy metal observed use atomic absorption spectrophometry (AAS). The consentration of Pb in water between 0,04 – 0,08 mg/L, and the consentration in sediment between 2,6-2,7 kg/L. This means that Pb in Percut catchment area is over the standart qualityen_US
