Employee teamwork and work commitment in an organization, either in public organization or
business organization have to be maintained. This is because employee teamwork and work
commitment are easily affected by the condition and environment around the employee.
The leader support is essential in maintaining and optimizing employee teamwork and work
commitment to improve the work performance. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze
the effects of work commitment and teamwork on employee work performance in Balai Taman
Nasional Bukit Duabelas (BTNBD) with leader support as moderating variable. The
population of this research is all BTNBD employees who work as Civil Servant, namely
echelon IV employees and the staffs. This research uses census as sampling method
with the total population of 47 employees. Data are analyed using Structural Equation
Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The result indicates that work commitment has a
positive and significant influence on employee work performance, teamwork has a positive and
significant influence on employee work performance, leader support does not moderate the effects
of work commitment on employee work performance, and leader support as research
moderating variable only acts as independent variable.
