dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research was to know the effect of kind of starter and soaking time in preparing liquid compost. The research was performed in June – July 2009 at Agricultural Engineering Laboratory, College of Agriculture, USU Medan. This research was conducted using factorial completely randomized design with two treatments. That are kind of starter (S) and soaking time (P). The results indicated that kind of starter had highly significant effect on C/N but had no effect on pH and yield. Soaking time had highly significant effect on C/N, pH and liquid compost yielden_US
